Register in person (Registration form, waiver) | return to terraloco home

Thanks to Kei from Transports for hosting our small group. A couple folks tackled the hills, staircases, and parks as the fog drifted in. Hinkel Park provided some Shakespeare action! The players were in full costume.

Original Announcement

The Berkeley hills: steep, scenic, curvy - route choice and views galore. We'll give all participants some interesting legs to solve. And enjoy the charm of the quaint houses and gardens.

Thank you to Transports for hosting our group! Get signed up inside the store. And check out the shopping deals while you're there - lots of running and training gear available.

Course statistics: the "as the crow flies" distance to get all 6 checkpoints is 5.0 km; in practice, having to follow the street grid, it should be about 1/3 longer, so I'm guessing a total distance of 6.7 km to get them all. Of course, you can get as many as you like. I also measured that it's about 220 m of climb to get them all.

Details:

  • Cost is $5 per person.
  • Registration and starts open at 6:00, mass start option is 6:45, courses close 8:00, or earlier, if people are finished.
